The war has geographically divided millions of Ukrainians — but not in purpose. Today, more than ever, we need to unite the efforts of Ukrainians at home and abroad to rebuild the country and move confidently toward a European future.


We invite you to an international online conference:

"BRIDGES BEYOND BORDERS: Synergies Between Ukrainian Civil Society and the Diaspora for Recovery and European Integration"

Organized by: Synergy Club (Ukraine) and Ukraine–Schweiz Bern (USB)(Switzerland)


Topics we will discuss:

  • The diaspora as a strategic resource: diaspora communities, whether returning or not, are powerful allies and ambassadors for Ukraine.

  • Overcoming internal divides: move beyond the split between "those who stayed" and "those who left" to promote mutual respect, solidarity, and recognition of complementary roles in Ukraine’s reconstruction and European path.

  • From competition to partnership: support mechanisms like twinning, joint initiatives, and shared platforms.

  • The power of a shared voice: how to shape Ukraine’s modern image in Europe through media narratives.


A practical case study:

During the conference, we will highlight the experience of Ukraine–Schweiz Bern. Representatives of the organization will share:

  • Programs for integrating Ukrainians in Switzerland.

  • Achievements of their youth platform for leadership development.

  • Twinning initiatives between Swiss and Ukrainian NGOs.

  • Experience in implementing media projects that strengthen Ukraine’s soft power abroad.
